The Panthers are proud to announce the signing of Denny Lambert for season 2010. Lambert played for the Cowboys in 1998 and has over 100 QLD Cup games experience for the Seagulls. He was also the 2004 Courier Mail Sunstate Player of the Year. Lambert will strengthen the Panthers halves after the loss of Star Halfback Andrew McCrohon to Souths Logan. The Panthers wish Andrew well and look forward to watching him playing regular QLD Cup for the Magpies.

Starting November 1st, Panthers fans will have a real way they can make a difference and own a stake in the future of both Rugby League Junior Development in the Western Suburbs and the Direction of the Wests Panthers as a senior Club in Queensland. President Tony Currie launched the Black Cat Club citing the need build a strong foundation at a junior level to ensure a steady flow of quality young Panthers through the junior affiliate and school systems into the Panthers Senior sides as they move towards Q Cup in the next few seasons. "This is a way ex-players and fans can have a direct input into the future of the Panthers at a senior level" Currie said. "Not only will they become financial backers of our senior playing group and junior development program but they will have voting rights as to the make up of the Board of the Panthers should they not be satisfied with the direction the club is moving."
