




Last week saw two entertaining games at Kev McKell Oval with the FOGS Colts challenge resulting in a see sawing affair over the last ten minutes. The Panther Colts were hanging onto a 24 -20 lead with four minutes remaining. Souths Logan scored two tries in the last four minutes with one right on full time to run out 30 - 24 winners.

In the Fogs Cup A Grade clash the Panthers started well in a very physical encounter which had the crowd enthralled. In the end the Magpies had too many answers in defence for the attacking raids of the Panthers to run out 18 - 6 winners after holding a 14 - 6 lead at half time.

In an interesting twist the draw sees both teams facing off for the second week in succession, this time at the traditional home of the Magpies at Davies Park West End. Can the Panthers exact some revenge for the losses last week. Both coaches are confident of a strong showing on Sunday. So Panther Fans get to Davies Park this sunday to see the Colts kick off at 10.45am then A-Grade at 12.15pm. At the conclusion of the A Grade match Souths Logan play the Northern Pride in a top of the table clash in the Queensland Cup commencing at 2pm.
