Tony Curries Tyres and More Under 20's played Burleigh at Pizzey Park on Saturday 17th April and suffered a defeat at the hands of the young bears, going down 16 points to 8.
The young panthers need to learn to be more patient and thing will start to happen as they did in the early rounds. We wish Robert Stagg a speedy recovery from an injury suffered during the game.
I know Coach Doug Kellaway is working very hard with the young sqaud to keep them on track and they are not far from being back in the winners list.
The Coldwell Banker Inspire A Grade team took on the competition leaders and plyed out a thrilling 12 all draw.
The game was locked up at nil all at half time and the teams could not be seperated at full time. It was a quality game of football with both teams throwing plenty at the opposition.
For the 2nd week in a row the panthers defence was outstanding. The best for the panthers was Cody Gray, Brett Zgrajewski and Ben Demmel. The panthers are building to something special - with patience they will turn one of these tight games into a positive result.
We'd like to thank our sponsors for their continued support.
