




Wests Panthers A Grade team defeated Souths Logan 22- 18 to move into outright 5th spot on the ladder. The team has not lost in 5 weeks and is starting to grow in confidence. The best for the Panthers was Daniel Green who was named Queensland Rangers Captain this week to play against NSW country in Bundaberg on July 11.
The Panthers have this week-end off and will be competing in the annual Panther Chase, our very own "Amazing Race".

The Tony Curries Tyres and More Colts moved into 6 th spot on the ladder, with a 36 - 26 win over South Logan. The best for the team were Brent Warr and Matt Currie.

Congratulations to Forest Lake State High School on becoming the inaugural winners of the Panther Cup, it is with the continued support of the Black Cat Club this programme will prosper into the future.
The development programme is hosting a Gala Day for 12 schools at Purtell Park on the 23rd July, which is huge success for the Panthers in it's first year of it's programme. The concept for the day will be a 7 a side tournament with the main focus being on having fun and experiencing rugby league.
